Tyting Community Wish (or THANK YOU) List
What we really need, more than anything, is your support. Its up to all of us to work together for a brighter future, so the more people that are able to get involved, the better. Do you have any skills that could be useful for our cause?
Can you donate some time to helping out by running a project or putting some work in? In order of priority, we are asking for people’s time, spare resources, or if you can’t help on that front, money is still useful.
In order to complete the projects we aim to achieve we need help gathering the materials and resources on our wish list.
Do you have any spare/second equipment that you could donate to our cause? This is a wish list for the types of things we will need.
Wherever we are, we wish to…
1. Provide a healthy and nutritious diet for our members, and our guests…
- Whole foods Hemp Seed, Pulses, vegetables, fruit, nuts etc
- Cooking apparatus Pans/pots, cutlery, bowls and plates, cups and glasses etc.
- Fuel Wood, Bio-fuels, (Gas + Coal if going spare) etc.
2. Build facilities. Shelter, Showers, Compost Loos, Office space…
- Tools Hammers, Nails, Screwdrivers, Planes, saws, clamps, spanners, nuts + bolts etc.
- Materials Wood, Metal, plastic, Tarpaulins, Rope, Push-fit plumbing, Blue plastic water pipe, connectors etc.
- Green Energy Solar panels, wind turbines, 12v inverters, car battery, electrical cables etc.
3. Expand our Permaculture and Forest gardens…
- Tools Wheelbarrows, Spades, Rope, Hammers, Nails, Rakes, Pitchforks, Watering cans etc.
- Materials Pallets, Glass, Wood, Chicken Wire, Railway Sleepers etc.
- Seeds, plants and trees and compost! Hemp seed
4. Provide educational workshops for our community members…
- Tutors Call us to arrange to teach a workshop
- Workshop requests are gladly accepted
5. Allow our members and guests to express their creativity and promote our cause…
- Art Materials Paints, Pens, Paper, Fabrics, Acrylic, Wood, Canvas etc.
- Old Clothes For our ‘Swap Shop’ and design studio
- Tools Sewing equipment, Sculpture and Craft tools, Easels, Tablets etc.
6. Have honest media representation (create our own)…
- Journalists Photographers, Film crews, writers,
- Web designers We need to connect more effectively with other projects and improve the functionality of our web-site
I would like to know more about sustainable living as I am seriously thinking about going down that road. Want out of the corrupt system and live in peace and harmony.
hey, just read your wish list…i have all of the things you are wishing for(i have been lucky/unlucky *delete as appropriate) …my daughter and myself are opting out of our stifled, governed, oppressed lifestyle, climbing into our horse box in early spring 2010 and travelling (trouble free hopefully) …so i have a house size amount of stuff for you…everything from clothes to cups, from plants to pans, from art materials to axes…infact if these supplys are still needed next spring you will have a horse box size load of goodies arriving…so keep me up to date with happenings please and i look forwards to meeting you all…much love H x
