A friend despairs, when words of love are suppressed..

Don’t despair – it is the babylonian system that wants us to feel anger, remorse, pain… In reality, the world is kind, loving, patient…

You can notice beauty in the littlest of things – but only if you are paying attention to what the world is trying to tell you. Don’t watch the news anymore, look out the window…

Spend time with friends and realise how much you adore them!! When you live in the present moment, (i.e the ‘here and now’, not ‘in another country far away… or in the past or future!) you will notice that people are kind, loving understanding… not the picture that is painted in the media, or in our education.

Wars are waged because of lies… they born through peoples imagination (fear, anger etc..)

As soon as you start ignoring the liars, and focusing on honesty, truth and ‘reality’ (this moment), you begin to see that beauty is, in fact, all around us. There are many places to spread the words of love and togetherness!!! EVERYWHERE!! :D

The difference between ‘Illegal’ and ‘Unlawful’.

I have a tremendously interesting time over the past few months up on Tyting farm learning about the law and I would like to share this information with you. I have always known that a lot of so called ‘Law’ is completely backwards and in the past this has caused me great pain and a sense of powerlessness in the fact of corruption and greed. Now though, I realise that our rights have not been eroded – it is simply that we have been fooled into believing they have been.

The basis of all law is the ‘natural’ or ‘common law’. This fundamental law, the law of God, states that we should ‘do as we would be done by’. So long as there is no victim, there is no crime. Do whatever you want in this life, so long as you don’t cause injury or loss to another human being.

Over the years, more and more so-called ‘laws’ have been added in the form of statute law which are slowly but surely eroding our free-man rights, creating a huge in-equality between those that govern, and the governed. We are told that we cannot drive our cars without paying levy charges in the form of taxes, that we cannot grow the sacred marijuana plant that can sure so many of our ills, that we should forfeit large swathes of our wages to fund wars in far off lands.

But these new laws do no apply to ‘free-men’. Only Common law applies to free men. So as a free man, I can drive without a license (i do have one, and I am a very good driver – I would never condone somebody driving on the roads unless they have been sufficiently trained and are acting in a safe manner), I can grow marijuana for myself and my community, I can reclaim land that is not being used, I can do whatever I want, so long as I am not infringing on the rights of others. And you can too.

The reason for this is that Statute law (i.e the misuse of drugs act) can only be applied to a legal fiction (in my case, Mr Christopher David Owen). As I no longer recognise myself as this ‘person’ and assert myself as a free man on the land, they cannot prosecute me for statute offenses. The legal person that is created at birth and issued on your birth certificate is a souless, fictional entity, liable for prosecution under statute law, with no more or less rights that a corporation. It allows corporations to have the same rights as any one of us, except with a corporation there is a distinct lack of acountability, allowing them to act in ways that are not conducive to and just and loving society.

You can only be prosecuted for offenses that directly harm another living soul. As with the example at Tyting Farm, Guildford borough council is an entity that DOES NOT HAVE A SOUL, so we are not causing any offense by reclaiming the land for communal use. We are breaking no laws by being on the land and using it to live a free and prosperous life.

Their fictional law relies upon the CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED in order for them to be able to prosecute you for statute offenses. In other words, you must accept that 1) You represent the legal (fictional) entity that they are attempting to prosecute, and 2) that you have in fact done anything wrong. If you fail to admit to either of these points then they cannot prosecute you.

So in other words – YOU ARE FREE TO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT SO LONG AS YOU ARE NOT INFRINGING ON THE RIGHTS OF ANOTHER LIVING SOUL.

Unfortunately, as this is relatively unknown information, the police aren’t aware of this fact as this information is hidden from them as it is from us, so you may be arrested for statute offenses even without your consent. Although it is a waste of everybodys time, you can be sure that unless you have caused injury or loss to another living soul you cannot be charged for any offense, and you will eventually be set free.

An interesting point to make here is that, if you are arrested for an offense that is effectively not a crime under common law, YOU can prosecute THEM for unlawful arrest! Ha! (Mention that at the time ‘if you arrest me I will sue you personally under common law’. Remember, you can only bring action against another living soul under common law, it is the arresting officer that is liable so get his details).

If you have any questions about this then please get in touch – i’m more than happy to answer your questions (bear in mind though, I am still learning myself) =)

Love, light, and don’t forget the laughter.

We fought the law and… we won.

Good day,

It appears our common law argument seems to be holding out so everything is now happening full flow on the farm. We are once again in need of peoples time and resources.

You may have heard that we have been evicted – but as we all know, then cannot lawfully evict us. We, as free men, have laid claimed to the land and have issued noticesd to say that only other free men are allowed onto the land. This means that police or bailiffs can only visit us as free men, with no added authority or power over us. If they do attempt to come onto the land as anything other than free men we will take each individual to court and sue them (essentially this is made possible because they have been warned).

They have threatened us with eviction and bailiffs 4 times now, yet each time nobody comes. We believe it is because nobody wants to take responsibility for attempting to remove us unlawfully. Neither of the judges in the case signed any of the orders – this would make them liable to prosecution under common law.

So, we are staying, and are beginning to build again. The past few weeks have seen relatively little progress on the farm but a renewed confidence has kick started us back into gear.

Everybody is welcome, but only as a free man, free woman or child. Come and support the peaceful revolution – it is finally happening…

:D love

IPO Served At Guildford Civil Court

The council have received their IPO (Interim possesion order) which now gives them the right to remove us from the site. We are hoping that they will not decide to enforce it immediately and that we will be able to stay on site while the tender process is being completed. A draft proposal for our vision for the site has been passed onto the relevant council members and we hope to start building amicable relations and opening up dialogue.

Eagle Radio were down to interview us – to keep your ears on the waves (96.4 FM).

OUR NEXT STEPS

We are in the process of forming a community association that can be the face of our collective. Certain members of our organisation, along with other local groups (transition Towns Guildford, The Guildford Society, Guildford environmental forum) will form a steering comittee to ensure that every step taken on the farm is one based on a consensus of a wide range of views. We are confident that we shall easily find the middle ground when dealing with projects of this nature.

With our draft proposal WE ARE ON A RECRUITMENT DRIVE to gather support and specialists that will help to bring our ideas to life. If you, or you anybody that would like to get involved in the project, please get in touch!!

Blessings from the farm x

Public Debate 22nd-24th May

Between the dates 22nd May and 24th May, we send an invitation to all citizens, groups, schools and officials of Guildford Borough to come together and lead discussion groups with regards to the communal use of Tyting Farm, Halfpenny Lane, Guildford. The discussions will be held ON SITE, which comprises of 115 acres of grazing farmland as well as many outbuildings in desperate need of renovation and maintenance.

The division between people within our current model of society is creating a great deal of discontent in our lives and damage to the environment – caused by an unsustainable economic system and woefully inadequate communication. We realise the importance of creating more ‘open access’ spaces for people to co-operate, integrate, and pool resources and we propose re-developing the site for communal use, with the aim of creating a ‘sustainable template’ that empowers people for the 21st century.

Tyting Farm would make a perfect site for much needed allotment spaces for the local community (a perfect opportunity for people of all ages to connect and work together), as well as an educational centre that specialises in modern agricultural techniques and green energy solutions. Light agriculture such as Permaculture and forest gardening, as well as wild life conservation, will ensure the health of the local environment is preserved and if anything, improved.

A two week adjournment has been secured with Guildford County Court that has given the necessary time for us to open up the topic for public debate as how best to utilise the land. We press again that input from the local community and effective co-operation with local government is key if there is to be progress on this issue and are sending an invitation to all local groups, organisations, schools and individuals to lead open discussions about possible futures for the site.

We would like to re-iterate that the land is not under any threat from this proposal- It is simply an attempt to ignite debate about our current (and future) food and energy situation. In concurrence with the Guildford Councils ‘Sustainable Development Programme’ 2009-2026, we realise the need for an immediate increase in local food production and a drop in our energy consumption. This site is a perfect opportunity to effectively discuss our collective situation through coherent debate- we are introducing tried and tested methods of communication to encourage equal opportunities in decision making. We hope this will help us to reach a unilateral consensus issues that affect us and that with the support of the local community our network can help steer Guildford borough towards a green and sustainable future for the 21st century and beyond.

Is there a more pressing issue than our long-term sustainability? This initiative directly confronts any potentially catastrophic problems that we may face in the future through co-operation and effective communication. We are no longer prepared to wait for others to solve our problems for us and have taken direct action in occupying the farm and initiating this debate. We are acknowledging and expressing our personal responsibility for the environment and for ourselves, and we invite you to the same. Unity is key in these challenging times, but it is also extremely exciting for there ARE solutions to our problems- it seems all we have to do is get our priorities in order.

Please contact us via TytingFarmCommunity@gmail.com for more information; if you are interested in leading a discussion, or getting involved in any way you can.

You can also contact Chris Owen, Founder of The Common Unity Project, Guildford, via unitewithlove@gmail.com, or telephone on 07862 237 566.

Also, join the Facebook group: ‘Tyting Farm Community’ and get involved in the online discussion.

Many thanks and we really hope to see you next weekend!

Chris, Charly and Trish.
