A letter to GUFT (re: Housing Co-ops)….
Hey free thinker! Hope you are better than well!
It would be good to look into this and see what the pitfalls and advantages are and if you need our help with anything please let us know. Housing co-ops are something we have looked at in the past but we decided not to take that route for various reasons.
The main concern is that by applying for housing co-op status we are continuing to accept and use the unjust system of debt and slavery bestowed upon us. Currently our legal is system is wholly unlawful. That said, if there is a chance of having some help by speaking to the right people in the right way – it is worth a shot. Just so long as its actually helps our cause, rather hindering us with the red tape, bureaucracy or the ‘conditions’ that are inevitable.Things need to change, its up to us to change them and if we carry on paying into this bullshit instead of showing them a different way then we won’t be making any quick progress.
What we really need is a complete transformation of the way we live – not to continue the old ways. We have been fooled into thinking that there is no way out of this situation but it is simply not true. To begin with, all we need is food – so lets grow a lot more of it. Property is theft, so you can use any land that isn’t already being used by somebody else. We need more community spaces, more useful information and truth in the media, a complete reform of our economic and educational systems and through all this, we can create a sustainable, fair and happy future for all.
The Tyting Community Project is campaigning relentlessly for these changes to happen – we can see a way out of the mess that we’re in – we just need more people to realise what we are doing and get on board. The sooner we unite, the sooner we will be free.
Common Law allows us to make use of unused properties, land and resources – without fear of persecution. So long as these are used responsibly and we are not infringing on anybodys rights we are not breaking the law. The corrupted legal system protects peoples wealth. It allows people to hoard wealth while others starve. Our law makers are the law breakers – not us.
Forget Law school. Here is all you need to know. “Do unto others as you would be done by” or “Love your neighbour”. Do whatever you want in this life, so long as you don’t infringe on the rights of other people. When you look at the harm that is caused to people through the banning of hemp, interest on debt or our consumer culture, or the numbers of people on anti-depressants you can see that these systems aren’t exactly ‘Lawful’.
Come and join us on the 9th August (Sunday) at Hackhurst farm to watch our documentary about Common Law and our project at Tyting Farm. We would love to talk to you more about these important issues.
The truth will set you free.
Love,
Blue Eagle
